Our American Dining Experience at Big Easy

We've been meaning to try this place for a while now, and we've finally tried it and it definitely didn't fail to impress! My boyfriend surprised me by taking me to 'Big Easy', an American restaurant that specialises in their steaks. This place is located in Covent Garden, London. They also have branches in Canary Wharf and Kings Road.
For starters, we ordered a 'Pick n Lick Giant Shrimp in the Shell' with garlic white wine cream sauce :P This was amazing, we even asked if we could keep the sauce for the mains! (Apparently we weren't the only ones who had asked that before lol!)
We ordered a rib-eye steak, an original burger and a quarter lobster to share - it was so delicious we ate every scrap of it, we were so full after!
It was like American heaven haha we'll definitely want to visit it again - Remember to follow my blog for more food reviews!

Flesh & Buns, London

So my boyfriend and I decided to try out this restaurant during the Xmas holiday, called 'Flesh & Buns' - a Japanese restaurant located in Covent Garden, London that specialises in steamed buns! You can choose what fillings you want in your bun, and there are also other dishes such as sushi, mixed sashimi sets, Korean fried wings and grilled scallops.
Salmon Avocado Roll Sushi
Korean Fried Wings - we didn't think this dish was that good though, the sauce was a bit funny :/

Hello 2017!

Happy New Year everyone!
I couldn't pick just one photo to sum up my 2016 - Overall, it was quite a good year for me with lots of memorable experiences - travel, my graduation, new job, being in the real work life, catching up with old friends and best of all being able to spend so much time with my .
Looking back, I had spent half of 2016 doing my final year at uni, and at the time it was really tough for me as the grades that I'd get would make me doubt myself and lose self-confidence. Although I went through sweat and tears to get to my graduation, I know that as one door closes, another door opens. I will miss my uni days, the best years of my life so far, but I believe there'll be even more amazing years to come. I feel a lot more freedom now that I can break out of the education system and into the real world of work and being able to do whatever I want now.

Christmas 2016

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year! I was so busy during Christmas that I didn't have much time to post on my blog! ><" So now I'm going to update you all with what I've been up to this Christmas :P
My boyfriend and I went to visit the London Ice Bar, which was a great experience and definitely got us into the Christmas spirit! :D Check out my post here about IceBar London.
We also went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park - we went there last year too, and it was a great feeling to come back here again; brought back so many memories! There were lots of people, the place was all lit up with bright lights, and there was the Christmas market and funfair rides.

Icebar London

Here is one place I've been longing to visit - the London Ice Bar! :D So this year we decided to give it a go during the Christmas season! It's the only bar in the UK that is entirely made of ice and is kept at -5°C all year round, and apparently their ice is harvested from Northern Sweden. You have to book tickets before you go in as there are always lots of people visiting. Luckily the queue wasn't a long wait, and once inside, we were given a cloak and gloves to wear, and we also got a free drink!
We ordered cocktails - a passion fruit cocktail and a lychee cocktail (can't remember the names, sorry!). The drinks were served in an ice glass, which was pretty cooool (mind the pun XD)
