Winter Wonderland 2015

As it's the Christmas season, one of the must-go-to places is Winter Wonderland :D This is in Hyde Park - there are many things to do here, such as visiting the Christmas market stalls, going on rides and rollercoasters and playing games to win toys etc. There is live music and beautiful lights everywhere - It definitely brings Christmas to life!

 We went to the Magical Ice Kingdom, which has lots of sculptures made of ice inside. It was really cold though, about -8°C :O so make sure to wrap up warm if you're planning on visiting this place! You have to book tickets in advance to enter though.

Then we bought some candy floss to eat - I felt like such a big kid haha

My boyfriend also won me these toys from playing games xD

After Winter Wonderland, we went to have dinner at a Korean restaurant called 'On The Bab' in Covent Garden. The food wasn't too bad, but the bibimbap wasn't hot like it's supposed to be :/ but the cinnamon punch and rice punch were nice. I really like the jars too!

Coffee Culture

 Haven't done a coffee post in a while~ I love my coffee and really enjoy exploring different coffee shops/cafés here and there. They are a great place to relax and chill out, or to have a catch up with a close friend. Here's a throwback to one of my favourite cafés in Guildford, called Coffee Culture. It's an independent shop, and they serve some really delicious coffee, as well as a great choice of cakes, muffins, paninis, waffles, sandwiches, soups, milkshakes and smoothies. My friend and I popped into the café one morning and we ordered waffles with strawberry sauce (and cream), and hazelnut truffle latte, which had such a great taste of hazelnut!

Coffee Culture has even brought out a gluten-free menu, which includes desserts like gluten-free brownies! The interior is nicely decorated with red sofas and chairs, which looks quite vintagey, and there's an outdoor seating area too. I've grabbed myself a loyalty card as I'll be sure to come back here again!

Monthly Round-up

1st of December has finally arrived! Which means Christmas will be around the corner! (not to mention exam revision...) I have yet to start my Christmas shopping :P I'm looking forward to going home and spending Christmas with my friends and family, opening presents and having Christmas dinner! It's been a long time since I've seen them.

So what have I been up to this month?

Well it's been a pretty busy time so far in my final year at uni - coursework, lectures, lab sessions... but don't worry, I'll still find time to upload posts for you guys! Last week we had Black Friday, which I'm sure many of you took advantage of the sales in the shopping malls and online! Why can't it be Black Friday every Friday huh? It's starting to get really cold these days, so I've been shopping around for some jumpers and cardigans, mainly from H&M and Zara. I'm beginning to go back to a monochrome style~ can never get bored of black and white haha

In November, I spent my first Bonfire night in Guildford.

I've also been down to London and the Christmas lights were up in Oxford Street, it looked so beautiful!
