C A R I S S A L A M: The Sky Garden

1 August 2015

The Sky Garden

I've been wanting to visit The Sky Garden for a while now, but just didn't have the opportunity to go. So when my boyfriend suggested going there, I was all for it :D We had to book it a few weeks in advance, but it is free of charge which is great. The best time to go there is in the summer when the place is nice and bright. The Sky Garden is located in 20 Fenchurch Street, London~ it is a three-floor space on top of Fenchurch and it is London's highest landscaped public garden.
There is a balcony outside where you can see the view across the city of London.
There is a great view of the Shard, one of London's iconic buildings.
Inside The Sky Garden there is a bar called the 'Sky Pod Bar' where you can buy drinks, cocktails and light snacks. Upstairs there is a restaurant called 'Darwin Brasserie'.

At the back of The Sky Garden upstairs you can see the view of the Gherkin, another one London's iconic buildings.
The view from the very top of The Sky Garden.

We bought some cocktails at the Sky Pod Bar, they tasted really good but are not cheap haha
So if you are planning to visit London some time and are looking for somewhere to go that is not outdoors on the busy streets, not another London museum, a classy-ish place to go that is open and vibrant, somewhere iconic, then The Sky Garden is a good option. It's also a romantic place to go with your other half~ you can come here in the morning, afternoon or evening.
